Training Subjects:

IEC-TCM offers over 15 departments with 25 specialties to TCM practitioners from all over the world for experience exchange and advanced clinical training. The training subjects as offered are:

Acupuncture, tuina (massage), TCM internal medicine, Bi syndrome, TCM gynecology, TCM pediatrics, TCM neurology, TCM rheumatology & immunology, TCM cardiology, TCM respiratory medicine, TCM endocrinology, TCM gastroenterology, TCM orthopedics & traumatology, TCM facial massage, TCM nephrology, herbal pharmacology, TCM oncology, TCM dermatology, etc.

Participants can choose subjects according to personal interests. Some inpatient departments can also be visited.

The patterns of training program include clinical practice of four special techniques of diagnosis (checking pulse, observing tongue & coating, etc.), techniques demonstration and training, lectures of special topics, tasting original raw herbs and watching the processing. It is also possible to have Tai Chi Chuan and medical Qigong training.

In order to facilitate clear communication, we provide well-trained translators in English. The clinicians involved in providing the educational program are TCM consultants, professors and experts, and each has 10-40 years of clinical experience. They teach students how to diagnose and treat different kinds of common diseases, frequent encountered diseases and refractory diseases. For some trainees, if they have already accumulated certain clinical experience, it is possible to participate in some clinical treatment under doctors' instruction. If over 6 students are organized, it is possible to arrange 2-3 lectures every week. The lectures are characterized with senior doctors' rich clinical experience. Participants are welcome to put forward their requests for specific topics of lectures. By the combination of clinical practice with classroom lectures, the training effectiveness is significantly improved and participants' interests and confidence are rapidly build up.


Duration of Training:

The clinical training ranges from one month to one year, and is available round the year.


Training Target:

The aim of the training program is to provide various clinical opportunities for students to be familiar with and master the basic theory and basic skills of the subject; experience and master the diagnosis, differentiation and treatment of common diseases, so that they can agilely apply Chinese medicine, massage and/or acupuncture on different kinds of health problems.


Language: English, Chinese.


How to apply:

The clinical training program is specially designed for overseas practitioners of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Tuina, and/or hope to have an advanced clinical training in the origin country of TCM. It is also suitable for Chinese medicine and acupuncture Amateurs and beginners who already have certain background of TCM theory and hope to have more clinical experiences. Applicants just need to submit their application form in two months advance to Zhejiang International Exchange Center of Clinical TCM.


Materials for Course Registration and Visa Application :

1.) Completed application form

2.) Scan of latest education certificate

3.) Scan of passport

4.) Electric photo

5.) Personal resume


Procedure:

1.) Applicants down load application form from www.chinatcm.org

2.) Submit the completed form together with the above documents to Zhejiang International Exchange Center of Clinical TCM (IEC-TCM): zjhtcm3@163.com

3.) The training center applies a letter of JW202 (study/visit visa application approval) from local authorities for applicants.

4.) Applicants apply "study/visit visa to China" with JW202, admission letter, room booking confirmation from Chinese Embassy in their home country.

 

Important note:

1. Put title of photo file with your full name and passport number

2.  Format of electric photo: Color photo without hat,white background without border,the head accounts for two thirds of the picture. The size of the photo is not less than 320 * 240 pixels, Aspect ratio 4: 3(length: width=4:3), Size is 100-500KG, JPG format.

3.) Inform us the NAME OF CHINESE EMBASSY in your nearest city that you are going to apply visa there. We need to submit your documents and application results to the embassy before you go there to apply visa.

4.) You must leave your actual mailing address in application form. This address is for you to receive the documents of hard copy for visa application.

5)  In 4-6 weeks after you submit the above mention documents, hospital will send you the hard copies of JW202 form, hospital admission notice and hotel booking confirmation to your mailing address. 


Tuition:

The tuition: RMB 7000.00/4 weeks, 5 workdays a week, including English translation or teaching in English, or RMB 1750.00/week. If over 6 applicants can be organized in one group and study over 4 weeks, each group member can get 5% discount. .
